Let's fill the truck with food and show our troops that Warren County Cares!!

The American Legion Department of NJ Chaplain Mike Schaffer informed us that our military families stationed at Joint Bases McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) and NWS Earle in Sandy Hook need help in providing for their families. As we all know inflation has taken a hard hit on our being able to provide for our families as well as theirs but with added restrictions on military families (moving from state to state and not being able to work in their trade fields due to state restrictions/non acceptance of their credentials in their licensing and certificates they earned in other states). This has reduced some families to a one pay check per month.

There is legislation being discussed to change these hardships on their families as well as increasing their base pay. But we all know that doesn't happen overnight. This hardship is not only being experienced in NJ but all over bases in the US.

Therefore we are asking for your help in giving them a leg up in today's present economy. Our active duty military should not have to worry about not being able to provide for their families or not having enough money for gas, utilities, clothing, etc. while being deployed.

They are here for all of us so let's be here for them.
